The horse will not approach
For hesitation, planting, swinging away or escalating worry before the horse reaches the ramp.

Horse loading help · County Durham
Patient, practical support for horses who refuse, rush, reverse, panic or have learned that the ramp means pressure.
Loading & travelling
Loading problems rarely improve when the appointment is waiting, the ramp is surrounded and everyone is under pressure. Useful training begins away from that deadline.
Lauren works on the pieces that make loading possible: leading, straightness, forward and backward movement, confidence near the vehicle, standing quietly and leaving safely.
When this can help
You do not need to diagnose the issue before contacting Equiscense. Clear context is enough to begin.
For hesitation, planting, swinging away or escalating worry before the horse reaches the ramp.
Support where the horse enters but cannot yet stand, wait or unload in a controlled and repeatable way.
A calmer plan after previous force, failed attempts, an incident or anxiety about the next necessary journey.
The Equiscense process
Welfare and safety come first. Training follows only when the horse is in a position to learn.
We assess handling, equipment, footing, vehicle setup and whether pain or travel experience may need attention.
Approach, pause, step, stand and reverse are built clearly before they are expected together under pressure.
The owner practises a realistic routine so loading is not dependent on Lauren being present.

Loading sessions
Sessions are shaped around the current starting point. A severe or long-established problem may need several visits rather than one exhausting attempt.
