Worry, reactivity or shutdown
For horses who spook, rush, freeze, avoid, threaten or become overwhelmed in ordinary situations.

Horse behaviour & confidence support · County Durham
Calm, practical help for worried, reactive or hard-to-handle horses—and owners who need the situation to make sense again.
Behaviour is information
A horse described as difficult, stubborn or dangerous may be frightened, uncomfortable, confused or repeating something that has worked before. Lauren looks at the whole picture before deciding what training can fairly change.
That includes health and comfort, management, history, environment, previous handling and the smaller signals that happen before the behaviour escalates.
When this can help
You do not need to diagnose the issue before contacting Equiscense. Clear context is enough to begin.
For horses who spook, rush, freeze, avoid, threaten or become overwhelmed in ordinary situations.
Support around clipping, injections, routine care or other moments where fear and risk have grown together.
A route forward after a frightening incident, difficult history or repeated attempts that have made things worse.
The Equiscense process
Welfare and safety come first. Training follows only when the horse is in a position to learn.
We discuss health, routine, history, triggers and what happens immediately before and after the behaviour.
The task is reduced to a level where horse and human can stay safe, process information and repeat success.
Lauren explains what she sees and gives you practical steps that can continue between sessions.

One-to-one behaviour support
Some situations improve in one focused session. Others need a block of work, professional input or changes to management before training can progress.
From £65 per session · Five-session blocks from £250
